Engineering & innovation
At ZB, engineering is the way we think.
We listen, analyse, design and evolve alongside our clients.
Our innovation is practical, purposeful and always focused on
improving performance, efficiency and profitability.
OUR ENGINEERING MODEL
In-house engineering, complete process vision
We have a multidisciplinary team covering mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and automation engineering. Every solution is developed from the ground up, tailored to the operation, space and objectives of each client.
We are manufacturers, but first and foremost, we are engineers. Everything we design is developed with real operating conditions in mind.
From initial analysis through to commissioning

Custom technical assessment

Plant layout and system integration

Development of tailored components

Validation under real operating conditions

Post-installation support and follow-up
Pioneers in mobile solutions. Leaders in adaptability.
In 2013, we launched the world’s first high-power mobile hammermill shredder: the THOR series. It was a direct response to the needs of the industry. Since then, we have continued to develop mobile, hybrid and modular solutions designed to give our clients greater flexibility, operational freedom and efficient integration into different working environments.
More than 12 active patents
Our developments are backed by industrial property and real operational experience. Each innovation is designed to solve specific challenges related to production, efficiency or safety.
R&D as a driver of continuous improvement
More than 20% of our team is dedicated to innovation.
We continuously research, test and refine our solutions
to anticipate the future of recycling and industrial shredding.
ENGINEERING FOR REAL RESULTS
What we design, we manufacture. And we build it to last.
Our engineering is validated through real-world performance. Every solution is tested, refined and adapted before delivery. We integrate only what is necessary, focus on efficiency and develop systems that can be maintained with autonomy and long-term reliability.
