Efficient solutions
Boosting the circular economy
Our stationary and mobile C&D (Construction and Demolition Waste) recycling solutions allow to revalue and reuse 90% of the materials processed by the plant through a comprehensive process of efficient shredding, separation and sorting with the low production cost that characterizes ZB solutions
The ZB process
Step 1 We listen
At ZB we are known for our closeness and commitment to our clients. From the moment the first contact is initiated with an enquiry until the solution is installed, we help our customers in the process of making one of the most important decisions in their business: the installation of a hammermill shredder.
Step 2 We advise
We analyse, together with the customer, their needs, requirements, and problems. We study their manufacturing flow as well as the room available to propose a turnkey solution.
Step 3 We design
We faithfully materialize in a preliminary project the needs discussed with the customer. The sales team is supported by the engineering department to adapt any particularity of the project to a new solution that meets the customer's requirements.
Step 4 We manufacture
From paper to reality. At ZB we do not only design shredding solutions, but we also manufacture them in-house. We have total control over the final product, adapting the manufacturing to the specific needs of each solution to guarantee there is no deviation between the concept and the final solution.
Step 5 We provide service
After commissioning, a highly experienced and trained team of professionals will take care of any contingency that may arise. In addition, we have the necessary stock of parts to guarantee their supply to our customers in our warehouses in Rentería and Atlanta.

Hammermill shredders
The first phase in the recovery, revaluation and recycling of CDW (Construction and Demolition Waste) is shredding, which is done with hammermill shredders, which can be stationary or mobile.

Mobile units
Our C&D (Construction and Demolition Waste) mobile shredding units are equipped with FZB hammermill shredders, which guarantees a high ratio of concrete reduction (100% from 0 to 60-80 mm), in one single process without the need for recirculation.
The hammermill shredder is the only one capable of breaking the iron in the market of C&D (Construction and Demolition Waste) recycling world wide., and shredding the rebar with a diameter of up to 30 mm. This allows to obtain clean iron without concrete and sheared remains, which implies a higher market price than in any other way.

Stationary installations
C&D recycling (Construction and Demolition Waste) consists mainly of the following stages:
• Feeding
• Shredding
• Drive
• Sorting
• Cleaning and peripherals
